A life annuity with a 10-year period certain will continue payments to a beneficiary if the annuitant dies:

• Only if the annuitant selected a joint and survivor option
• Before the 10-year guaranteed period expires
• At any time, for the remainder of the beneficiary's lifetime
• After receiving more than the purchase price in payments
